When the darkness starts creeping in and the father of lies tries to tell you that you are not loved, meditate on these truths.

Takes great delight in me…
Quiets me with his love…
Rejoices over me…
Yes, He loves me with a very deep, personal love.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
My God:
Wants to take all of my anxieties… because he loves me.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
My God:
Knows me intimately and cares so much about me that he has created a plan for my welfare, to give me a hope, and a future!
Psalm 36:7 How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings
My God:
Protects me in the shadow of his wings.
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness”
My God:
Did not demand that I come to him. He drew me to himself with his kindness.
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? … No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
My God:
Has made me more than a conquerer, not by might or power, but through his love.
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
My God:
Considers me his friend, and laid down his life for me.
Romans 2:4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
My God:
…Is not waiting for me to fall
… Is not mad at me
….Is patient, kind, and tolerant, because of his kindness toward me.
John 15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
I will remain in His love.
I won’t go looking elsewhere for my security, acceptance, or value.
I will stay here.
